Design Technology - Shadow Puppets

This week in Class 3, the children have completed their Design Technology project for this term.

The desgin brief was to make a shadow puppet with moving parts. As a class, the children created their design crieteria which they later used to evaluate their final product. The design criteria was:

To create a puppet that looks like a skeleton
To have a moving part that pivots in an oscillating motion from a central point
To have a lever

Here are a selection of pictures of our design process including creating our design criteria, drawing our initial design, making a prototype and then developing our design before making and evaluating the final product.
