Cornwall Climate Care Workshop

In our Climate Care Workshop with Hayley, we learnt about the timeline of our Earth and how climate has changed. We looked at graphs which showed how the earth has been warming up and learnt that Greenhouse Gases : methane and carbon dioxide, are contributing to this. 

We enjoyed a lot of the activities around this topic ; especially our climate bingo where we discussed ways in which we could help reduce our carbon footprint eg: use refillable bottles, walk to school if we live close enough, turning off the tap when brushing our teeth. 
When we looked at farming, we learnt about how the methane gas produced by cows can be captured and turned into a fuel to be used in tractors. 
Hayley was very impressed with our questions, which were very throughout and showed that we were extending our knowledge and learning about this topic.
