Music lessons

Year 1 and Year 2 have been having lots of fun during their music lessons. The children have been learning about the 'pulse' in a piece of music, as well as singing along with the piano and discussing how a piece of music made them feel. When finding the pulse we had to tap our feet in time with the penguins and breathe in and out in time with the music. This week the children enjoyed replicating the pulse on glockenspiels and xylophones.

'I wasn't sure what to expect we I listened to the music - it was in a different language!'
