A 'Wild' SCARF session

We made the most of the beautiful weather and went 'Wild' with our SCARF: Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience, Friends activity in Pre-School today. Whilst creating our beautiful self-portraits out of clay we had opportunity to recognise that we are all unique whilst naming the different parts of our body.
These activities lead to discussions that help the children to understand that families can be different to theirs, but these families also love and care for one another. We respect differences and celebrate individuality.
We are so lucky to have such a great environment where the children can explore and use their senses to further discover the world around them. We have definitely been 'Exceptional Explores' and 'Compassionate Citizens' today.
