We're Going on a Hunt!

We can't go over it, we can't go under it, oh no, we've got to go through it!

We have been listening to 'We're going on a bear hunt' and learning lots of positional vocabulary. The children were amazing athletes again using their gross motor muscles to go over, under and through during p.e. Using the apparatus is a fantastic way of children learning to take safe risks and build up self-confidence. Their also got to strengthen their fine motor muscles by using scissors. They showed great skill at cutting along the lines to make bear headbands.

We're now reading 'Lion Hunt' which offers the children a window into someone else's world. We're using both books to make comparisons about where we live compared to Africa and what animals we might see.
