Community Kindness in Action

7th May 2025

Today, Class 7 had a truly special surprise! We were thrilled to welcome Dave Carloss back into our classroom, bringing with him generous chocolate treats that brought big smiles to everyone’s faces. Dave is a member of the Widows Sons Grand Chapter — a group of motorcycling Freemasons who dedicate their time and energy to charitable causes throughout the year.
Their most exciting annual event is the Easter Egg Run, a vibrant gathering where riders from across the region come together to deliver Easter eggs and raise funds for a wide range of charities and community organisations. This year, an incredible 400+ riders participated, making it one of the largest and most impactful events yet!
We are especially grateful to the Kernow branch of the Widows Sons for choosing to support our school and for making today so memorable. The chocolate eggs were a delicious treat, but the real excitement came when we got to explore the delivery vehicle — a thrilling highlight that added to the magic of the visit.
Moments like these remind us of the power of kindness and community. Thank you to Dave and all the members of the Widows Sons Grand Chapter for spreading joy and making a real difference.
